Job summary

Jobot is seeking a litigation associate with 1-3 years of commercial, business, or complex litigation experience to join our Stamford, CT team. You will work closely with experienced litigators on sophisticated matters, from inception through resolution.

Active license to practice law in Massachusetts and/or Connecticut is required; strong academic credentials and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of commercial, business, or complex litigation experience.
• Experience drafting substantive motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral advocacy and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of litigation from case inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other court filings
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues
• Prepare and respond to written discovery requests
• Take and defend depositions and assist with witness preparation
• Attend court appearances, conferences, hearings, and other proceedings
• Support trial preparation, including exhibit management and case strategy development
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas on litigation and related disputes
• Manage day-to-day case responsibilities while maintaining strong client service standards
• Participate in strategic analysis and case evaluation efforts
