Job summary

Austin, TX is the home for a PCB Design Engineer role focused on high-density, multilayer boards powering aerospace, defense, and industrial platforms. You will transform complex hardware concepts into manufacturable layouts while optimizing signal integrity, power integrity, and manufacturability.

Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to support full product development using leading PCB technologies and tools, delivering reliable, cutting-edge solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Expertise designing complex high-density multilayer PCBs for aerospace, defense, networking, or embedded computing.
• 2+ years of PCB layout experience using enterprise tools; Mentor Xpedition preferred.
• Experience with Mentor Xpedition Layout, DxDesigner, and libraries/constraints.
• Translating electrical schematics into manufacturable PCB layouts with hardware engineers.
• Strong SI/PI knowledge, DFM/DFT principles, and fabrication/assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop sophisticated multilayer PCB layouts for aerospace, defense, and industrial applications.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and systems engineers across the product lifecycle.
