engineeringjobs.net, Inc. Huntsville, AL is seeking a PCB Design Engineer to develop advanced, high-density multilayer PCBs for aerospace, defense, and industrial use. You will optimize signal/power integrity and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability.

You will use Mentor Xpedition and related tools to translate schematics into production-ready layouts, supporting the lifecycle from architecture to fabrication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience designing complex high-density multilayer PCBs for aerospace/defense/high-performance electronics.
• 2+ years in PCB layout using enterprise tools; Siemens Mentor Xpedition preferred.
• Experience with Mentor Xpedition Layout, DxDesigner, and design libraries/constraint tools.
• Proven ability translate schematics to manufacturable PCB layouts with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize multilayer PCBs (14–24+ layers) for aerospace/defense applications.
• Ensure SI/PI, control impedance, and manufacturability meet stringent specs.
• Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, manufacturing, and test teams through full lifecycle.
• Produce fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing documentation.
