Job summary

Furlani Foods, LLC in Oak Creek, WI, seeks a High-Speed Packaging Equipment Operator (Mechanically Inclined) to operate and set up high-speed packaging lines. You will troubleshoot minor issues, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate with the Packaging Lead and Maintenance Team to improve reliability and efficiency.

The role offers full-time hours on 2nd or 3rd shifts with pay premiums, and requires a High School diploma or GED; technical certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in manufacturing (high-speed packaging preferred).
• High School diploma or GED; technical certification is a plus.
• Experience with minor mechanical repairs and adjustments.
• Familiarity with high-speed machinery and basic maintenance tools.
• Proficiency in English; bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and change over high-speed packaging and production equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve minor mechanical issues; escalate complex problems.
• Perform inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and basic repairs; assist with preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with the Packaging Lead and Maintenance Team to optimize performance.
• Record downtime, repairs, and performance data in CMMS (EAM); report throughput and waste.
