Job summary

FURLANI FOODS, LLC, Oak Creek, WI, is seeking a Packaging Team Lead to manage a high-speed packaging line and a team of 11–15 associates. You will collaborate with QA, Warehousing, Sanitation, and Maintenance to ensure smooth operations, drive continuous improvement, and uphold strict safety and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication in English, and 1–2 years in manufacturing, with Lean principles preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in English both written and oral.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles (training provided).
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform minor equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and reporting tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage production on high-speed packaging lines, guiding 11-15 associates.
• Collaborate with QA, Warehousing, Sanitation, and Maintenance for aligned goals.
• Drive OEE improvements by addressing bottlenecks and reducing downtime.
• Coach and develop the team, promoting continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance when needed.
• Promote Lean manufacturing and 5S to optimize workflows.
• Ensure health, safety, and food safety standards (GMP, SQF, HACCP).
• Monitor KPIs: OEE, health & safety incidents, waste reduction, product quality.
