Job summary

FURLANI FOODS, LLC is building a new state-of-the-art bakery in Oak Creek, WI and seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep high-speed production and packaging equipment running smoothly. You will perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance and work with a team committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on manufacturing maintenance, English proficiency, and experience with mechanical, electrical, and automated systems including PLCs

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food production preferred).
• Proficiency in English both in written and oral communication.
• Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and automated systems, including robotic and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Familiarity with CMMS (EAM) software to schedule, track, and complete work orders.
• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Equipment Excellence: Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on high-speed production and packaging systems.
• Troubleshoot Like a Pro: Diagnose and repair issues with mechanical, electrical, and automated systems, including robotic and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Collaborate for Success: Partner with production teams during equipment setup, changeovers, and adjustments to minimize downtime.
• Embrace Continuous Improvement: Participate in Kaizen events, support RCFA, and contribute to a culture of operational excellence.
