Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Pass background check required.
• NC Teaching Certificate with EC endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Modify and adapt instructional delivery and materials to IEPs for diverse needs.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to curriculum and inclusion support.
• Communicate with parents/administrators/school psychologists for IEP/Evaluation meetings.
• Serve as IEP facilitator between special ed and general education teachers.
• Gather info and write/update IEPs and data reports.
• Complete report cards and progress reports for students.
• Assist staff with interventions for students in Student Study Team process.
• Maintain student data for grading and IEP progress monitoring.
• Attend meetings and trainings to maintain professional competence.
• Other duties as assigned.
