Wake County Public School System seeks a dedicated special education professional to coordinate and implement IEPs for students with disabilities. The role focuses on delivering specially designed instruction, progress monitoring, and collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff.

You will ensure compliance with FERPA, maintain confidentiality, and stay current with district policies and state regulations while supporting a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Hold NC Professional Educator's License in Exceptional Children.
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs.
• FERPA confidentiality compliance.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develops IEPs for students with disabilities; updates IEPs as needed.
• Implements instructional strategies and progress monitoring for specially designed instruction.
• Assists students in completing curriculum tasks and IEP goals.
• Employs diverse teaching methods, accommodations and modifications.
• Monitors student behavior and maintains classroom discipline.
• Attends IEP meetings as a collaborative team member.
• Stays current with trends and best practices through professional development.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
