Qualifications

• AA degree or higher, or two years of college (72 quarter credits).
• Ability to meet state-determined performance standards in reading, math and writing (para-educator assessment).
• Experience with high school age children; special needs experience preferred.
• Bilingual/bicultural preferred.
• Knowledge of Google applications; willingness to learn Skyward and other student data/IEP systems.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Confidentiality and tact; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• IEP Transition Support: plan, prepare, and conduct transition IEP activities monthly.
• Post School Report: gather contacts and follow up with former students.
• Assist with documentation for IEP meetings and scheduling.
• Assist with IEP online student evaluations and program documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
