Qualifications

• Coaching experience at high school/college level.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining high academic standards for student athletes.
• Assist athletic director/principal in hiring/retention of coaches.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate assistant coaches.
• Ensure proper insurance coverage for athletes.
• Work with head coaches to run a balanced athletic program.
• Promote sportsmanship and pride in school and community.
• Direct training, conditioning, and performance of varsity team.
• Be present at varsity and junior varsity contests as possible.
• Advise schedules, equipment, facilities, and eligibility processes.
• Organize recruitment and support staff (equipment managers, statisticians, etc.).
