Qualifications

• Coaching experience at high school or college level.
• CPR and First Aid training completed or currently enrolled.
• Preference for Virginia teaching license or full-time classified employee in Loudoun County.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining high academic standards for student athletes.
• Assist athletic director and principal in hiring/retaining assistant coaches.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate all assistant coaches of the sport.
• Coordinate with athletic director to ensure athlete insurance coverage.
• Foster values of athletics, good sportsmanship, and pride in school and community.
• Direct training, conditioning, and performance of varsity team and supervise assistants.
• Be present at all varsity contests and supervise athletes at events as possible.
• Advise on schedules, officials, equipment, and facilities maintenance.
• Organize recruitment and inventory for teams.
