Job summary

Loudoun County Public Schools in Sterling, VA, is seeking an assistant football coach for Park View High School. The season runs Fall: August through November, with duties coordinated with the head athletic coach and the athletic department.

You will attend staff meetings, support a well-structured program, and carry out duties as assigned by the head coach. Experience at high school/college level and CPR/First Aid training are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Coaching or participation experience at high school or college level in the sport.
• CPR and First Aid training completed or enrolled in current CPR and First Aid training course.
• Prefer experience as a teacher or classified employee in Loudoun County Public Schools.
• Prefer a Virginia Teaching License candidate or full-time classified employee for LCPS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the head athletic coach to run a well-structured program.
• Coordinate with the athletic department.
• Attend all staff meetings prescribed by the head athletic coach.
• Carry out duties designated by the head athletic coach.
• Recommend equipment and supplies for the program.
• Recommend disciplinary actions for players violating rules.
• Promote sportsmanship and school pride among athletes.
• Perform other duties as requested by the principal or athletic director.
