Chicago Public Schools is seeking a High School Scheduling Specialist to support districtwide scheduling, graduation processing, and course catalog administration. You will coordinate with schools, networks, ITS, and content teams to ensure policy alignment and data integrity.

The role involves training, data analysis, and maintaining timelines to support district priorities and effective scheduling across CPS high schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience, including experience with HS Scheduling and supporting the development of HS Course Catalogs.
• Knowledge of high school scheduling practices and CPS graduation requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to travel between schools for in-person support; valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, technical support, and guidance to school and district stakeholders, including coordinating deadlines and resources.
• Facilitate and monitor the districtwide high school scheduling process for an assigned portfolio of all district schools.
• Coordinate the manual high school graduation request process and audit promotion status changes.
• Monitor and support the administration and data quality of the district course catalog and Aspen system configuration.
• Coordinate with academic content teams and schedulers to maintain course offerings and provide onboarding.
• Other duties as assigned.
