Job summary

Fayetteville Technical Community College is recruiting a new member to join our Student Services Team and now accepting applications for a full-time Career Coach in High School Connections.

The Career Coach plans, organizes, coordinates, and participates in activities designed to assist high school students with determining career goals and identifying community college Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs that will enable them to achieve these goals.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Two years of increasingly responsible career coaching and admissions experience or other relevant coaching responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Promote and facilitate career pathways at local high schools that include Career and College Promise, articulated credit, and CTE programs at the College.
• Work with high school counselors, coordinators, and Cumberland County Schools’ Career Pathways Coordinator to align programs and opportunities.
• Provide college and career advising, guidance in career pathways, and enrollment assistance in CTE programs.
• Maintain enrollment/tracking/reporting records.
