Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, education, career and technical education, or related field with 2–5 years in educational counseling.
• Ability to relate well to high school students and families.
• Knowledge of career exploration programs for youth ages 15–19.
• Experience with college application processes and financial aid knowledge.
• Ability to conduct workshops and classroom presentations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a community college academic and career advisor for high school students and those in dual enrollment.
• Relate well to high school students and families; provide personalized career guidance.
• Utilize career exploration programs in one‑on‑one, small group, and classroom settings.
• Assist students with college applications and FAFSA/scholarship processes.
• Promote career coaching services within high school and community settings.
