Job summary

Cleveland Community College seeks a Career Coach to assist high school students with career goal setting and identifying CCP programs. You will document progress, develop a program of study, verify prerequisites, and create pedagogical materials to support advising on high school campuses.

You will work with schools and counselors to promote college pathways, guide students through CCP applications, and coordinate with local partners to align educational opportunities with industry needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in Education or a related field.
• Evenings and weekends availability with advanced notice.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain partnerships with Cleveland County Schools, private schools, home schools, and build relationships with high school counselors and administrators.
• Provide academic counseling to prospective students focusing on high school students and CCP admission process.
• Advise students on career and pathway planning; assist with course selection and program of study for future semesters.
