• Ability to relate well and enjoy working with high school aged populations.
• Knowledge of career exploration programs for youth 15-19.
• Knowledge of financial aid and scholarships.

Responsibilities

• Relate well and work with high school students and families.
• Assess skills, needs, interests, and aptitudes for career options.
• Utilize career exploration programs one-on-one, in groups, and in classrooms.
• Assist students with college applications and FAFSA/scholarships.
• Conduct workshops and presentations to prepare for postsecondary education.
• Provide goal setting and postsecondary action plans with students.
• Promote connections to job shadowing and experiential learning.
• Maintain required reporting systems and provide reports to college.
