Base pay range

$39,000.00/yr - $61,000.00/yr

TRECA e-learning initiatives include TRECA Digital Academy (TDA) and TRECA Flex, alternatives to traditional schooling that utilize 21st-century technology. TDA provides students with computer technology, allowing them to progress at their own pace. Teachers work with an assigned group of students, overseeing e-learning classes, providing support, and monitoring progress. Teachers help students develop a strong work ethic by monitoring progress and engaging learners, fostering mentoring relationships through technology. This position primarily works from a home office but reports to the main office in Marion, Ohio, or other regional locations as scheduled.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

1. Identifying, selecting, and modifying instructional resources to meet students' diverse backgrounds, learning styles, and needs.
2. Developing systems to engage students and boost motivation and productivity.
3. Communicating regularly and professionally with stakeholders.
4. Monitoring student progress, evaluating assessment data, and providing individualized feedback.
5. Maintaining accurate student records using TRECA systems.
6. Collaborating with staff and maintaining good relationships.
7. Ensuring program goals are met using best practices.
8. Serving as a general education representative on all Special Education teams, including progress reports.
9. Participating in state testing preparation and administration.
10. Analyzing data from screenings and tests to identify intervention needs.
11. Providing Response to Intervention (RTI) programming and instruction.
12. Reporting to designated locations as assigned.
13. Engaging with organizational communication systems daily.
14. Assisting with state testing as needed.
15. Performing related duties as assigned.
