Whom We Are Looking For

Think Academy U.S. is seeking a Full-Time Remote Middle School Math Teacher to work with 6th to 8th-grade students. Teachers should understand math concepts, prepare lessons based on Think Academy's curriculum, deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons, explain concepts, demonstrate problem-solving techniques, and employ diverse teaching methods to meet student needs.

What You Will Do

• Teach middle school mathematics virtually through the Think Academy Teaching Platform.
• Manage an online classroom of up to 18 students actively.
• Prepare and deliver lessons using Think Academy's curriculum and guidance.
• Grade homework and perform other teaching-related tasks.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents, providing timely and personalized feedback.
• Work approximately 30-40 hours per week, mainly during weekends or weekday afternoons, depending on your class load.

How You Can Be Qualified

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; all majors are welcome; Education or STEM majors are preferred.
• You may still apply if pursuing or in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree.
• Prior math teaching experience is not required but advantageous.
• Experience in elementary math competitions is a plus.
• Available to start in Summer 2025 (Fall: Aug–Dec; Spring: Jan–May; Summer: June–Aug).
• Willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends.
• Passionate about teaching and education, responsible, and enjoy working with kids.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Structure

• Teaching Fee: $30/hour; 3-7 classes per week.
• Non-Teaching Fee: $16-20/hour; includes class prep, grading, and communication with parents.
• Bonus: 15% Target Performance Bonus.
