Zeta Charter Schools is seeking an Associate Director/Director of High School Math in New York City. The role focuses on designing rigorous math learning experiences and leading a team to drive strong academic outcomes across Advanced Algebra II, Geometry, AP courses, and related math programs.

The position requires a Master’s degree and at least five years of school leadership, with a proven track record in improving math results and aligning curricula to NY standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and 5+ years in school leadership with proven math outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of NY State math standards and exams.
• Experience leading professional learning for principals and teachers.
• Ability to design rigorous math learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design rigorous math learning experiences to deepen students' conceptual understanding.
• Lead high school Math to meet rigorous annual goals.
• Collaborate across Zeta to support growth in student learning.
• Manage curriculum and assessment materials aligned with NY standards.
• Lead professional learning trainings for principals and teachers.
• Observe instruction and develop leaders and teachers.
• Analyze data to identify gaps and drive improvement.
• Foster a culture of feedback and continuous improvement.
• Wear multiple hats on a lean scale-up team.
