Zeta is seeking an Associate Director/Director of High School History in New York City. This role requires a Master's degree and at least five years of school leadership with a proven record of History outcomes, including AP and Regents exams.

You will guide curriculum, staffing, and instructional strategies across Zeta’s high schools in the Bronx, Upper Manhattan, and Queens. Expect in-person work most days with occasional remote days and flexible calendar breaks.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required with at least five years of school leadership experience.
• Experience leading History departments or programs in high schools.
• Proven track record of achieving academic outcomes in History (AP/Regents).

Responsabilités

• Design rigorous History learning experiences aligned to NYS standards.
• Lead High School History to meet annual academic goals.
• Build authentic relationships across Zeta to support student learning.
• Create and curate History curriculum, units, lessons, and assessments.
• Lead professional learning trainings for principals, APs, and teachers.
• Develop instructional management plans to ensure high-quality History instruction.
• Analyze data to identify gaps and drive improvement.
• Embrace feedback and foster continuous improvement.
• Wear multiple hats on a lean scale-up team.
