Job summary

PSI Solutions in Akron and surrounding suburbs seeks an experienced High School Intervention Specialist to provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities. You will collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and school psychologists to implement IEPs and MTSS strategies.

This W2, benefits-eligible role offers full- or part-time options, school-year contract (2026-2027), and flexible scheduling within typical school hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Intervention Specialist or Special Education license/certification (state-specific).
• School-based experience preferred, but mentorship available for newcomers.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate on developing and implementing intervention plans.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Support students’ social-emotional growth and behavior management.
• Assist in data collection and documentation for IEP compliance.
• Partner with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student success.
