Job summary

PSI Solutions is seeking an Intervention Specialist to provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities within school settings. You will collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school psychologists and gain exposure to PreK-12 opportunities.

We offer mentorship, strong district partnerships, and a supportive environment where clinicians grow professionally while helping students succeed in the classroom.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
  • State-specific Intervention Specialist license/certification.
  • School-based experience preferred; mentorship available.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals.
  • Collaborate on developing and implementing intervention plans.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
  • Support students’ social-emotional growth and behavior management.
  • Assist in data collection and documentation for IEP compliance.
  • Partner with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student success.

Schedule: Monday-Friday | School Hours (Typically 7-8 hour days)

Assignment Experience (What You Can Expect)

  • Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and school psychologists
  • Exposure to multiple grade levels (PreK-12 opportunities)
  • Opportunities to implement differentiated instruction and intervention strategies
  • Work with individual students, small groups, and whole-class support
Your Impact as a PSI Intervention Specialist

You'll help students overcome academic, social, and behavioral challenges while ensuring they receive individualized support to succeed in the classroom.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
  • Valid Intervention Specialist or Special Education license/certification (state-specific)
  • School-based experience preferred, but newer professionals encouraged to apply - mentorship available
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
