Job summary

PSI Solutions is seeking an Intervention Specialist to support students with disabilities across PreK-12 in Youngstown and surrounding areas. This role offers both full-time and part-time options, with school-hour schedules and a flexible approach to placement within the 2026-2027 year.

You will collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and families to deliver IEP-aligned instruction, monitor progress, and adapt strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Intervention Specialist or Special Education license/certification (state-specific).
• School-based experience preferred, but newer professionals encouraged to apply - mentorship available.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate on developing and implementing intervention plans.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Support students' social-emotional growth and behavior management.
• Assist in data collection and documentation for IEP compliance.
• Partner with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student success.
