Job summary

PSI is seeking an Intervention Specialist to join our team in Chesterland, OH for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time W2 position supports K-2 students, with Monday–Friday schedule and immediate start.

You’ll collaborate with teachers, apply IEP goals, and adapt instruction to diverse learners in a district-supported environment. PSI provides clinical and professional support, competitive pay, and benefits based on hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Intervention Specialist or Special Education license/certification (state-specific).
• School-based experience preferred, but newer professionals encouraged to apply — mentorship available.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate on developing and implementing intervention plans.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Support students’ social-emotional growth and behavior management.
• Assist in data collection and documentation for IEP compliance.
• Partner with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student success.
