Job summary

Carrollton - Farmers Branch ISD is seeking an English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher at Creekview High School. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and area of specialization when required for the position.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate or such other credentials as may be required by the State Board for Educator Certification for this position.

Responsibilities

• Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
• Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of all students based on the district's educational philosophy, goals, objectives, and individual student plans.
• Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
• Establish and maintain standards of appropriate student behavior.
• Provide instruction using ESL methods to limited English proficient students.
• Communicate with parents about student progress and obtain needed forms and other information as needed and requested.
