Qualifications

• HQ with a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid Texas ESL teaching certificate or ESL endorsement.
• Teaching experience in the assigned grade level is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with campus administration to identify ESL-eligible students.
• Schedule and conduct Language Proficiency Assessment Committee meetings.
• Provide staff training in ESL strategies for teachers.
• Deliver individual and group instruction for English Language Learners.
• Monitor student progress using benchmarks and reports.
• Prepare and maintain ELL Rosters and weekly reports.
• Ensure compliance with state mandated assessments.
• Serve as campus ESL resource and trainer for staff.
• Develop IEPs in collaboration with Special Education.
• Maintain records and communicate progress to parents.
