Job summary

The New Standard in Flint invites you to apply to teach high school students using the district's English curriculum. The teacher in this position delivers ELA instruction and facilitates other courses to support a well-rounded education.

Starting pay is 50,000.00 USD (negotiable) with increases based on experience. The district provides full benefits, a 401K plan with 4% and 4% match, and life insurance; college transcripts and credentials are required during the application process.

Qualifications

  • Must hold Michigan Teacher Certification.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of effective and innovative instructional and student evaluation techniques.

  • Willingness to work with other teachers to promote interdisciplinary studies.
  • Skill in interpersonal relations with pupils, parents, teachers, staff and the general public.

Job description

Minimum Qualifications
  • Michigan Teacher Certification

Salary Range

Pay increases based on experience.
