Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or a related field.
  • Current Massachusetts athletic training licensure.
  • Current CPR/AED and Emergency Cardiac Care certification.
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional certification.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, coaches and staff.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and postseason events.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective athletic training program for high school and middle school.
  • Provide first aid, injury assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning services.
  • Coordinate referrals and physician evaluations when needed.
  • Provide coverage for home contests and practices across seasons.
  • Maintain athletic training room and documentation.
  • Collaborate with health services and physicians on return-to-play decisions.
