Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in high school level coursework, instruction, and student support.
• Experience supporting secondary level students preferred.
• College coursework in Education, Math, Science, English, Engineering, or related field desired.
• Current USD #116 employee may apply.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions and provide reteaching for homework from the school day.
• Tutor high school students in various subjects (Math, Science, English, Language Arts).
• Take attendance and submit records on time.
• Engage with students during after-school program to encourage help-seeking.
• Maintain positive relationships and follow program/school rules.
• Arrive on time and stay for the duration of the session.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
