Job summary

Big Night Entertainment Group in Mashantucket, CT, is seeking an Event Server for private events. This part-time, front-of-house role focuses on greeting guests, taking and serving orders, and ensuring accurate, timely service.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of serving experience in a fast-paced bar/restaurant, a valid TIPS certification, neat appearance, and excellent communication. You’ll build guest loyalty, multitask during high-volume events, work nights, weekends and holidays, and

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests joining us for private events with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanor.
• Attending to guests and taking food and/or beverage orders; serving the event menu selections according to the BEO.
• Ensuring guests' orders are accurate and served in a timely manner.
• Anticipating guest needs and fulfilling them.
• Preparing guest checks and collecting accurate payment when needed.
• Resolving any service issues with empathy and according to guidelines.
• Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening when needed according to all company guidelines.
• Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive and professional manner.
• Maintaining a clean and well stocked work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
