Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health’s 8DE High Risk Postpartum unit seeks a compassionate RN for part-time shifts (two 7a–7p per week) with weekend and holiday requirements. The unit cares for postpartum and gynecologic patients, with a 1:4.5 patient ratio that adapts to acuity.

Required: nursing program completion, RN license, BLS; ACLS/PALS within 6 months. At least 6 months RN experience; inpatient experience preferred. Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience; not for new graduates.
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
ACLS and PALS are required within 6 months of hire.
At least 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
Use evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to ensure patient safety and a high quality experience.
