Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain building integrity, grounds, amenities, and common areas at a high-rise property. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage make-ready tasks for vacant units to ensure readiness for new residents.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license for golf-cart access on-site, and adherence to safety and local regulations. A full benefits package accompanies this onsite opportunity.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications required.
• Driver’s license required to operate golf cart on property.
• Certifications as required by state and local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and performing repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Performs make-readies for vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, and inspecting completed work.
• Accesses and obtains materials from maintenance, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation to ensure service requests are properly documented and tracked.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing parts rather than replacing when appropriate and using tools efficiently.

Education

EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant certification

Valid driver’s license (golf cart on property)

State and Local certifications as required
