Job summary

Greystar in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Novo Las Olas to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the property's buildings, grounds, and amenities meet safety and quality standards.

You will diagnose defects, complete work orders and make-ready tasks, coordinate with vendors, and maintain inventory and safety compliance. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license are required, with on-call shifts possible.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification required (Type 1 & II or Universal).
• Licenses as required by state and local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver's license to operate property vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Performs make-ready tasks for vacant units and coordinates vendors as needed.
• Tracks materials, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor for reorders.
• Documents work and ensures accurate service records.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; assists with cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when possible.
