General Mills Inc. in Golden Valley, MN is seeking a Boiler Operator to safely operate and monitor three high‑pressure boilers during a 5:30 pm–5:30 am shift, seven days on/off with Thursday change. The role requires hands-on maintenance, water testing, and coordination of annual inspections.

Candidate must hold a Minnesota 1st Class B boiler license, be able to work with automated controls, lift heavy loads, and communicate effectively. Nuvolo experience is a plus.

Formación

• Minnesota 1st Class B boiler operator license or higher.
• Able to interact with automated control systems and operate in manual mode when needed.
• Able to lift up to 50–100 lbs occasionally.
• Able to use hoist and rig equipment weighing up to 300 lbs.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience reading gauges, meters and data acquisition systems.
• MS Office computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and monitor three high‑pressure boilers from startup to shutdown.
• Perform boiler water testing, monitoring, and inventory management.
• Troubleshoot and assist with boiler and steam system maintenance.
• Monitor fire alarm and suppression systems, perform inspections.
• Operate plant air compressors and well water system.
• Utilize Nuvolo to report and complete maintenance work orders.
• Assist in training new employees.
