Sprung Services, Inc. seeks a Boiler & Steam Turbine Plant Operator in Minnesota to operate high‑pressure boilers and steam turbines, plus related utility systems including cooling towers and water treatment.

The role requires a Minnesota 1st Class A Engineer license, strong mechanical troubleshooting, and the ability to work 12‑hour rotating day/night shifts with every other weekend. You will read procedures, adjust equipment, and maintain logs.

Competenze

• Current State of Minnesota 1st Class A Engineer License required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to learn and operate computerized process control systems (DCS, PLC, etc.).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and related software platforms preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety procedures, equipment manuals, operating instructions, and P&IDs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, multiplication, and division.
• Strong reasoning and problem-solving abilities.

Mansioni

• Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers, steam turbines, and related utility equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and rounds to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.
• Perform routine water testing and maintain required water treatment parameters.
• Troubleshoot equipment and assist with repairs as needed.
• Develop a strong understanding of process flows, equipment functions, and system layouts.
• Read and follow standard operating procedures, equipment manuals, and P&IDs.
• Operate or learn to operate forklifts, skid steers, and other mobile equipment.
• Work independently and as part of a team while making sound operational decisions.
• Maintain accurate shift logs and operational records.
• Assist with creating, maintaining, and updating standard operating procedures.
• Follow all safety, security, and operational policies and procedures.
• Promote a clean, safe, organized, and team-oriented work environment.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and consistent attendance.
