Job summary

The Lower Colorado River Authority is seeking a High Line Worker IV based in Marble Falls, TX, to construct, maintain and repair electric transmission lines across the western district. You will lead team members, guide safety practices and perform live-line work at height.

As a senior member, you’ll climb structures, operate bucket and winch trucks, and coordinate with management and landowners to ensure reliable service while modeling safety excellence and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience in transmission and/or distribution line construction or maintenance work or related field involving work at heights.
  • Class A Texas commercial driver's license

  • Provide guidance and direction to less-experienced team members. Lead others and effectively handle multiple tasks in support of the supervisor.
  • Follow all safety, environmental and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as bucket trucks, boom trucks, winch trucks, etc., used in performing aerial work.
  • Perform live-line maintenance with hot-sticks on energized transmission lines.
  • Climb wood and steel transmission structures to extreme heights using proper safety equipment.
  • Communicate with management, customer and landowners through both verbal and written methods.

LCRA's Line Operations group is looking for a High Line Worker IV to join our team! Based in Marble Falls, at an expert level, you will construct, maintain and repair electric transmission lines across our western district and help guide team members in accomplishing their tasks safely and efficiently. How You'll Contribute


  • Provide guidance and direction to less-experienced team members. Use leadership skills to lead others and effectively handle multiple tasks at the same time in support of the supervisor and in lieu of the supervisor.

  • Follow all safety, environmental and departmental policies and procedures.

  • Operate and maintains equipment such as bucket trucks, boom trucks, winch trucks, etc., used in performing aerial work.

  • Perform live-line maintenance with hot-sticks on energized transmission lines.

  • Climb wood and steel transmission structures to extreme heights using proper safety equipment.

  • Communicate with management, customer and landowners through both verbal and written methods.



How You're Qualified


  • Three or more years of experience in transmission and/or distribution line construction or maintenance work or related field involving work at heights or relevant experience.
