Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team in Atlanta. Under the Radiologist, you will perform diagnostic radiographic imaging for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high-quality images to support physician interpretation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography Program required.
• Registered or registry-eligible with ARRT and must obtain ARRT certification within six (6) months of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures across neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Prepare examination rooms to ensure safety, infection control, and hygiene.
• Verify patient identity with two identifiers and use AIDET framework.
• Process, transfer, and archive images via PACS and reconcile daily exceptions.
• Apply lead markers and technologist initials on all images.
• Maintain and calibrate radiographic equipment per manufacturer standards.
• Support scheduling and workflow, ensure rooms are stocked and clean.
• Assist with training Radiology staff and students as assigned.
