Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team and provide high-quality radiographic imaging services for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.

Under the direction of the Radiologist, you will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain imaging quality while supporting efficient workflow in the Radiology Department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography Program.
• ARRT registration or registry-eligible; must obtain ARRT certification within six months of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Prepare examination rooms to ensure safety, infection control, and hygiene standards.
• Ensure patient identification using two identifiers and apply AIDET communication during interactions.
• Process, transfer, and archive images via PACS and reconcile daily exceptions.
• Maintain equipment with routine QC checks and report malfunctions.
