Grady Health System is seeking a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. You will perform diagnostic radiographic imaging across neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients under the Radiologist, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to imaging protocols.

The role emphasizes producing high-quality images, maintaining workflow efficiency, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and interprofessional teams to support optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography Program.
• ARRT certification or registry-eligible within 6 months of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Prepare examination rooms to ensure safety, infection control, and hygiene standards.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and follow the AIDET framework during interactions.
• Process, transfer, and archive images using PACS and reconcile daily exceptions.
• Verify demographic data and accession numbers; apply correct R/L markers and technologist initials.
• Maintain radiographic equipment with routine QC checks and calibrations; report issues to supervision.
• Assist with scheduling and support productive departmental workflow; stock examination rooms.
