Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team and provide high-quality radiographic imaging services for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient populations under the direction of the Radiologist.

This role emphasizes patient safety, adherence to imaging protocols, efficient workflow, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography Program required.
• ARRT certification or registry-eligible; obtain within six months of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Prepare examination rooms ensuring safety, infection control, and hygiene standards.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and use AIDET in interactions.
• Track patient flow from start to finish and document exams.
• Process and archive images using PACS and reconcile exceptions.
