Grady Health System is seeking a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team and provide high-quality radiographic imaging services for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient populations.

Under the direction of the Radiologist, the Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures across multiple clinical settings while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established imaging protocols.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography Program required.
• ARRT-registered or registry-eligible with ARRT; must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Aufgaben

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain safety, infection control, and hygiene standards.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and use AIDET framework during interactions.
• Track patient workflow from exam start to completion and document appropriately.
• Process and archive images in PACS and reconcile daily exceptions.
• Evaluate image quality and verify demographic data and accession numbers.
• Apply lead markers and include technologist initials on images.
• Maintain radiographic equipment with routine QC and calibrations.
