Job summary

Surepoint Medical Centers in Denton, TX is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department. The role requires 2+ years ER nursing experience, Texas license, and current ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications. You will support physician orders and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Join a dedicated team at our free-standing ER in Denton. Must be able to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays; background check will be completed.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN Nursing License or Compact State License in good standing.
• Two years of recent Emergency Room experience as an RN.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications.
• Pass background check(s).
• Must have exceptional technical skills (IV, Foley, NG tubes, splinting, wound care, etc.).
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining excellent patient care and customer service.
• Ability to work all shifts including day, evening, weekends and holiday hours as needed.
• Effective team player.
• Detail oriented with exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
• Efficient time management skills with ability to anticipate workflow and perform synchronous tasks.
• Basic typing and computer proficiency, preferably experienced with Windows, Microsoft Office, EMR/EPM systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient-focused health care services to all patients within the scope of practice through physician orders.
• Serve as point of contact for clinical staff and assist the physician/provider in monitoring ancillary staff.
• Work across roles and assist with labs and basic facility maintenance as needed.
