Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced ER nurse for a full-time position in Texas. The role focuses on assessing, planning, directing and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Room, with a mid-shift schedule (11am-11pm) and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for new employees.

Required qualifications include an Associate's Degree (BSN preferred), active RN license, 2+ years ER experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. English fluency and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license without sanctions, required.
• 2+ years of full-time RN experience in ER or similar setting, required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide age-appropriate nursing care with clinical excellence.
• Complete accurate, legible documentation of medical records.
• Monitor patient signs, symptoms and vitals; communicate observations.
• Collaborate with physicians on interventions and expected outcomes.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information.
• Follow physician orders for nursing care delivery.
• Collect specimens and perform lab tests per policies and CLIA regulations.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Handle admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Assist in preparing equipment and supplies for procedures.
