Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Residential Sales Consultant in Gaithersburg, MD. This outside sales role focuses on diagnosing comfort needs and presenting high-efficiency HVAC and water heater solutions to homeowners.

You will leverage internal warm leads and your own pipeline to close sales while collaborating with our technical team to tailor installations for each home. A base salary plus commission supports substantial earnings potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a Bachelor’s degree or related professional sales certifications preferred.
• 2+ years of proven sales experience, preferably direct-to-consumer (B2C).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to educate customers on HVAC solutions.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Consultative selling of high-efficiency HVAC and water heater systems to new and existing customers.
• Build lasting relationships through a customer-focused approach to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Drive sales by leveraging internal leads and your own prospect pipeline to close opportunities.
• Collaborate on-site with the technical team to tailor home solutions to customer needs.
• Remain a market expert, staying updated on energy-efficient technology and service methods.
