Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of mortgage lending experience with proven production.
• Desirable Bachelor’s degree and prior Mortgage Loan Officer experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to loan processing and underwriting.
• Evaluates loan requests and analyzes financial data to determine qualification.
• Maintains contact with loan customers and communicates loan progress.
• Structures loan to comply with lending practices and regulations.
• Develops detailed marketing plan including referrals and network contacts.
• Answers calls and walk-in customers about loan products and qualification information.
• Makes sales calls to develop new business or retain existing business.
• Cross-sells bank products and services.
• Reviews surveys and appraisals and addresses issues.
• Participates in networking to promote loan products.
