Job summary

Westlake Financial seeks a high-earning Dealer Account Manager to train dealer partners and drive account development across the Detroit region. You will educate dealers, manage sales activities, and present proposals to management for profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated automotive, finance and sales experience is required (industry knowledge essential).
• 1–2 years in a sales role with proven success.
• College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Strong presentation skills from creation to delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques is a plus.
• Strong computer skills and adaptability to new tech.
• Willingness to travel locally with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Educate and train current dealer partners and develop new contacts.
• Manage all sales activities and account development for dealers in the region.
• Maintain quality and consistency of product and service delivery.
• Prepare presentations and proposals to communicate products to management at dealerships.
• Identify prospects, follow up on leads, and grow dealer partnerships.
• Train on programs and funding requirements through visits and calls.
• Assist with loan solutions and verification processes for profitable approvals.
• Develop sales materials and stay current on financial product knowledge.
• Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows.
