Job summary

VW of Fairfield, located in Fairfield, CA, is seeking a Sales Professional who builds rapport with guests and guides them through the full sales process. You will develop expert product knowledge, identify customer needs, and lead financing options to close deals.

Compensation includes a base hourly rate with commission and potential production bonuses, with top performers earning between $130,000 and $180,000 annually. A collaborative team and strong guest-service culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in product or retail sales preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Availability to work retail hours including Saturdays and holidays.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and referrals
• Obtain expert product knowledge and confidently describe or demonstrate vehicle technology, features, and accessories
• Identify and understand the customer's needs, preferences, and budget, and assist them in their selection by providing vehicle options that meet their needs
• Promote vehicle protection plans such as GAP, service, dent, or windshield
• Lead the sales finance process with each customer
• Partner with the Finance team on customer financing options based on their credit, budget, down payment, and trade-in values
• Use the Client Relationship Management system to manage customer relationships and interactions, schedule appointments, and respond to Internet leads
