Fairfield Automotive Partners is seeking a Sales Professional for our Fairfield, CA location. You will build rapport with guests and guide them through the sales process to identify the best vehicle for their needs.

Top producers earn $130,000 to $180,000, with 1st-year earnings from $98,000 to $110,000. The role offers a collaborative team environment, company benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Must hold a current State sales license or obtain within 30 days in CA.
• Pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers and referrals.
• Explain vehicle technology, features, and options confidently.
• Identify customer needs and present suitable vehicle choices.
• Promote vehicle protection plans (GAP, service, dent, windshield).
• Lead the sales finance process with each customer.
• Coordinate financing options with the Finance team based on credit, budget, and down payment.
• Use CRM to manage relationships, schedule appointments, and respond to internet leads.

Top Producer range: $130,000.00 to $180,000

1st year in the business range: $98,000.00 to $110,000.00

As a Sales Professional, you'll focus on building rapport with guests and creating long-term relationships will be key to your success. You partner with your guests throughout the entire sales process to determine what vehicle will best fit their wants and needs.

What you will do:

• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and referrals
• Obtain expert product knowledge and confidently describe or demonstrate vehicle technology, features, and accessories
• Identify and understand the customer's needs, preferences, and budget, and assist them in their selection by providing vehicle options that meet their needs
• Promote vehicle protection plans such as GAP, service, dent, or windshield
• Lead the sales finance process with each customer
• Partner with the Finance team on customer financing options based on their credit, budget, down payment, and trade-in values
• Use the Client Relationship Management system to manage customer relationships and interactions, schedule appointments, and respond to Internet leads

Education, Experience, and Certification:

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• The ability to work independently with limited supervision and the motivation to continually increase product knowledge should be evident.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must possess and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Must hold a current State sales license or have the ability to obtain a sales license within the first 30 days of employment as required by the State of California.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check, MVR check, and drug test with results that are consistent with Company hiring standards.

The Client Advisor Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $16.90 per hour.The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance.The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
