Incredible Health in the Washington, DC area is actively hiring for a Registered Nurse - PCU / Stepdown. This role targets nurses with experience in high-acuity settings and provides opportunities across shifts and employment types.

The position emphasizes care for medium to high acuity patients, collaboration with physicians and care teams, and documentation in electronic medical records. Compensation ranges from $61,470 to $130,000 per year plus benefits.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree is required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac or similar high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, monitoring vital signs and IV drips.
• Administer medications and execute complex treatment plans per orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and others to ensure optimal care.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and use of BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR per policies.
